Bassecourt is a former municipality in the district of Delémont in the canton of Jura in Switzerland. On 1 January 2013 the former municipalities of Bassecourt Courfaivre Glovelier Soulce and Undervelier merged to form the new municipality of Haute-Sorne.HistoryBassecourt is first mentioned in 1160 as Baressicort.
